The research activity organized by Ocean University of China, with the theme of "exploring Chinese civilization and appreciating its charm", was successfully held in Beijing from May 29st to June 1st, 2019.There were 12 students awarded Confucius Institution Scholarship participated in the activity. These students came from over 10 countries such as Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia, Belarus, Serbia, Germany, Vietnam, Ukraine, and Nigeria.

Students have visited the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven, the Great Wall, the Capital Museum, the Olympic Park and other cultural attractions during the activity. Thanks to the tour, not only have they learned China’s historical development, realized the wisdom of ancient Chinese working people, but also have appreciated the charm of its modern culture and rapid development.

This research activity also provided students with a platform for cultural exchange and mutual learning, thereby promoting the interaction between students and Chinese culture, stimulating their interest in Chinese culture, and deepening their understanding of modern Chinese society.
