Biography:

Dr. Song Wenhong received her PhD degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) in 2005 under the supervision of Prof. Liu Xianjun and Prof. Zhao Juming. She is the founder and director of the Research Center for Shandong-American Exchanges and Cooperation, OUC. Prof. Song has published more than ten papers in high-ranking CSSCI journals and 8 books about education, and has presided over and completed 8 research projects on faculty development and talent cultivation at or above the provincial or ministerial level. She was a visiting scholar at the University of Minnesota (Aug.2010-May, 2011) , St. Olaf College (Sept.-Nov. 2015) , Syracuse University(Sept. 2022-March 2023) respectively in the United States. After joining in AMEA (Asia Marine Educators Association) in 2017, Prof. Song sponsored the 3rd AMEA conference in Qingdao, which has been a milestone in Asia marine education cooperation.
