On 11-16 Feb. 2018, 7 MCTL faculty went to join the Ocean Sciences Meeting in Portland, US. The Ocean Science Meeting (OSM) began since 1982, holding by AGU and ASLO. The meeting had more than 20 subjects, including Biogeochemistry and Nutrients, Coastal Dynamics, Chemical Tracers, Organic Matter and Trace Elements, Microbiology and Molecular Ecology, etc.

Prof.Meixun Zhao, Prof. Xuchen Wang, Prof. Guiling Zhang and Prof. Pengyao joined the meeting. Prof. Zhao gave a talk in the meeting: The provenance of organic matter in Chinese Mariginal Sea sediments from Hydrogen Isotopes in lipid biomarkers.
