On April 27, 2017, OUC president Prof. Zhigang Yu met with Prof. Timothy Eglinton from ETH. This communication was around discipline construction of marine chemistry and geoscience. Director of Key Laboratory of Marine Chemistry Theory and Technology, Prof. Meixun Zhao joined the meeting.

Prof. Timothy Eglinton is a key member of the 111 project "Marine Chemistry". He is cooperating with OUC in many aspects including scientific research, postgraudate cultivation and Accelerator MSC for many years. As the chair of the panel, he joined the international review of research and capacity building of Key Laboratory of Marine Chemistry Theory and Technology on 24- 26, April.
