Jiayan Zhang is a dedicated and accomplished English educator with extensive experience teaching both in China and the United States. She holds a Master's degree in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) from the University of Delaware, where she graduated with distinction and received multiple Dean's Scholarships for her outstanding academic performance.

Jiayan's professional journey began in Shenzhen, where she worked as an English teacher first and then a coordinator at several educational institutions, including a listed company. In these roles, she designed and developed courses to help her students improve language proficiency and get prepared for various standardized tests such as TOEFL and IELTS. In addition, she presented in professional development conferences to share her insights into English teaching. She made a presentation to share her thinking of hybrid teaching mode during the pandemic period in Maryland TESOL Association's 41st Annual Fall Conference. Then, she, as a presenter, shared her class design about cultural diversity in a TESL classroom in the 2021 PennTESOL East Fall Conference. Also, she attended the professional development conference of TESOL program held by Cecil County Board of Education, Maryland.

With her strong academic background, rich teaching experience, and passion for education, Jiayan Zhang is a valuable asset to any educational institution.
