主要从事鱼类的发育以及文昌鱼发育和进化研究。迄今，已发表论文10余篇。

(1) gene regulation in fish development, and (2) amphioxus development and evolution. Recently focus on (3)comparative study of vascular development and its underlying phylogenetic networks in the above models.
