  • Identify the Atlantic heat sink can explain global warming slowdown during 1998-2012

  • Suggest that the role of AMOC on the global climate variability is different with or without surface anthropogenic warming;

  • Propose a pair of orthogonal PDO and ENSO indices, identify the independence between PDO and ENSO
