National Award Style |Zheng Zhongjun -- Take dreams as horses and live up to Shaohua Personal Profile

Zheng Zhongjun is a 2021 undergraduate majoring in food science and engineering at HaideCollege of Ocean University of China. He is currently the head of the Department of Sports and Physical Education of the Student Union of HaideCollege. In the 2021-2022 academic year, it ranked second in the comprehensive evaluation of the major and third in academic performance. He has won the first scholarship of Ocean University of China, the first prize of the International College English Vocabulary Challenge and other honors. He has participated in voluntary service and social practice activities for many times, obtained 21 national certificates, and worked 116.5 hours of volunteer service. Now I participate in the SRDP project as a team leader.

Personal experience sharing

01 Learning

University study requires us to master basic theories and professional knowledge, and we should attach importance to the cultivation of various abilities. Therefore, in order to truly learn knowledge and skills, we should not only continue to carry forward the spirit of hard work, but also adapt to the teaching laws of the university, master the learning characteristics of the university, and choose the learning methods that are suitable for us.

First of all, we should correct our learning attitude. In learning, we will inevitably encounter various difficulties, but we should maintain a positive and optimistic attitude. We should not only focus on the scores, but also on the results and ignore the process. We should keep a calm mind.

Secondly, we should master the correct learning methods. Effective learning method is the key to improve learning efficiency.  

(1) Preview: During the preview, you should write down the questions you do not understand, so that you can not only save learning time, but also improve the efficiency of listening.

(2) Class: focus on class efficiency. Try to understand what the teacher said in class, and turn it into your own thing after careful thinking, digestion and absorption.

(3) During the review, we should carefully sort out the classroom notes, compare the textbooks and reference books, summarize and supplement them, so as to integrate the knowledge we have learned, form our own ideas, grasp the context of the knowledge we have learned, and make the knowledge we have learned more complete and systematic.

(4)Homework: Be diligent in thinking, complete the homework independently, draw inferences from others, understand by analogy, and develop good habits.

Finally, establish targeted learning objectives and plans. Learning goals should combine long-term goals with short-term goals and be realistic. The learning plan should have the content and time arrangement. Through the plan, arrange the time and tasks reasonably, and urge yourself to implement the plan, so as to develop good learning habits.

02 social practice

Social practice is a very important part of college life, a very important link for us to move towards society, and a concrete embodiment of the combination of education and practice. Participating in social practice can not only enrich our experience, exercise our ability, improve our personal quality, make friends with like-minded people, but also, more importantly, through social practice, we can receive profound education and inspiration, release and strengthen our sense of social responsibility.

I have participated in the national college students' volunteer activities of reassuring the Party and making a strong country have me, the national college students' volunteer activities of honoring Chinese doctors, the Ruka special volunteer teaching activities of volunteering with me and making love leap across thousands of rivers and mountains, and the Haide College's volunteer services of letting me cover and care for you. Participation in these activities not only enriched my experience and improved my personal quality, but also made me better integrate theory with practice and realize the value of life in practice. We can reasonably and appropriately participate in various social practices and voluntary service activities according to our own actual situation and interests.

03 Student work

I joined the Chinese Student Affairs Department of the International Exchange Association, and now I am the head of the Sports Department of the Haide College Student Union of Ocean University of China. I have participated in planning, organizing and coordinating basketball matches, small league matches, orientation parties and other activities. In these processes, I not only gained sincere friendship, but also gained valuable experience and ability.

I believe that participating in student work can not only increase your experience, improve your organization, coordination and leadership skills, but also broaden your vision, improve your communication skills, cultivate team spirit and harvest sincere friendship. Students need not worry too much about the impact of club activities and student work on their own learning progress. As long as they balance their time according to their own rhythm, they can integrate into it and gain a lot.

The potential of human beings is limitless, which can be fully exploited only through continuous learning and practice. I hope that students can keep curious and study extensively in their future study life; Participate in practice and create value; Live a healthy life and keep exercising; I believe you will continue to move forward with courage, live up to your youth and youth, and write your own college chapter!
