个人履历
1997年在中国海洋大学获得水产养殖学博士学位,1999年赴美国A&T大学做IBT访问学者。2017年当选中国工程院院士,获政府特殊津贴荣誉称号,是全国优秀科技工作者、山东省先进工作者、山东省突出贡献中青年专家、泰山学者特聘教授、青岛市劳动模范。现担任山东省科学技术协会副主席,山东省青年科学家协会主席,山东省海洋经济技术研究会理事会会长,中国动物学会副理事长,中国动物学会贝类学分会主任委员,国务院学位委员会第七届生物学科评议组成员,国家基金委生命学部第七届专家咨询委员会委员、全国水产原种和良种审定委员会副主任、科技部“蓝色粮仓”重大专项主体专家组组长等职务。

海洋生物遗传学与育种
主要业绩
在扇贝种质资源、基因组学和分子育种等领域开展了深入研究,奠定了种质创制的理论基础;研发了贝类BLUP遗传评估技术,发明了低成本高通量全基因组标记分型技术,建立了扇贝分子标记辅助育种和全基因组选择技术,引领我国贝类育种技术体系建设;育成5个扇贝新品种,累计推广900多万亩,创产值500余亿元,改变了扇贝养殖依赖野生苗种的局面,为探索我国水产种业的发展模式做出重要贡献。
在国际高水平刊物发表SCI论文200余篇;获授权发明专利35项,开发育种软10套;获全国创新争先奖1项、国家技术发明二等奖1项、国家科技进步二等奖3项、省部级一等奖4项。先后被授予全国五一劳动奖章、全国创新争先奖、全国优秀科技工作者、山东省先进工作者等称号。
