主要科研领域：
主要从事动物发育与进化生物学研究。研究聚焦于模式动物斑马鱼的组织器官形成，对发育过程中重要基因的功能、作用机制以及相关的信号通路进行研究。已在国际主流刊物发表论文50余篇，成果发表在Development, JBC, Mech. Dev.等国际权威期刊。主要承担国家自然科学基金面上项目及青年项目等多项课题；入选2011年教育部新世纪优秀人才计划。获国家海洋局海洋创新成果奖一等奖（第3位）及教育部自然科学奖二等奖（第4位）各一项。
