20013-present: Curator and resercher in Department of Geology and Paleontology, National Museum of Nature and Science, Japan
Dr. Yoshimi Kubota’s research interests focus on using microfossils found in marine sediments to understand the climate system, ocean circulation, and interactions of the two. I conduct stable isotope and trace element analyses of the fossil skeletons of foraminifers to reconstruct the Quaternary paleoenvironment.
