On October 29, on the occasion of the OUC’s centennial anniversary, Prof. Bin Wang, outstanding alumni of our school, recipient of the Carl-Gustaf Rossby Research Medal, and Professor Emeritus at the University of Hawaii delivered an academic lecture titled “Dynamic Control of Tropical Cyclone Genesis” at the Future Ocean Forum. The lecture was hosted by Prof. Li Jianping, Dean of the Academy of Future Ocean, and was attended by over 31,000 participants, including students from the AFO.
