On July 11, at the joint invitation of Prof. Li Jianping, Dean of the Academy of Future Ocean, and Prof. Zhang Xiaohua, a Ph.D. supervisor of the Academy of Future Ocean, Prof. Chen Feng from the University of Maryland delivered an academic lecture titled “Microbial Adaptation for Degrading Recalcitrant Dissolved Organic Carbon in the Dark Ocean – A Story of SAR202 Bacteria” at Future Ocean Forum. The lecture was hosted by Prof. Zhang Xiaohua, and was attended by over 17,000 participants, including students from the AFO.
