On April 16, at the joint invitation of Prof. Li Jianping, Dean of the Academy of Future Ocean, and Prof. Sun Jin, a Ph.D. supervisor of the Academy of Future Ocean, researcher Chong Chen from Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology (JAMSTEC) delivered an academic lecture titled “Fantastic Hydrothermal Vent Beasties and How to Protect Them” at Future Ocean Forum. The lecture was jointly hosted by Prof. Sun Jin, and was attended by over 15,000 participants, including students from the AFO.
