On January 30th, Prof. Chen Lingyun from the University of Alberta in Canada was invited as a guest speaker for Future Ocean Forum by Prof. Li Jianping, the Dean of the Academy of Future Ocean, and by Prof. Li Fengmin, a member of the Cross-cultivation Steering Committee and the Vice Dean of the College of Environmental Science and Engineering. Prof. Chen delivered an academic lecture titled "Research in Development and Application of Marine Natural Polymers". The lecture was co-hosted by Gan Bolan and Ma Kun, Vice Deans of the Academy of Future Ocean, and was attended by over 17,000 participants both online and offline, including students from the AFO.
