To be an active part in building an international platform, enhance students' core competitiveness on the global stage, and accelerate the establishment of a talent cultivation base in the field of marine sciences, focusing on cultivating more scientists and professionals with outstanding capabilities, Academy of Future Ocean organized a symposium on the Marine Top-Notch English Competence Promoting Program on January 11. The meeting was presided by Prof. Li Jianping, the Dean of the AFO, and attended by experts Jing Zhen, Liu Yingying, Geng Zihan, as well as our Vice Dean, Ma Kun.

AFO will continue to actively develop the program and further develop an internationalized course teaching system with Global Ocean Open Courses (GOOC) and high-level internationalized courses as dual engines. This initiative aims to pave the way for a new approach to internationalized talent cultivation.
